The popular US brand finally opens in Manila.

One of the most popular international clothing chains opened its flagship store at the second floor of SM Megamall Building A, with a massive selection of its signature fun and creative clothing designs and accessories. The original Forever 21 from the U.S. has finally come to cater to Manila’s trend-savvy shoppers.

Prepare to be floored what with the enormous space that houses racks and racks of tops, dresses, bottoms, an entire corner for shoes, a corner for intimates, and another section for accessories.

“This is more than 2000 square meters of space with more than 30 fitting rooms, 60 sales assistants and 11 cashiers,” says Dixie Li, Merchandising Head of Forever 21.

“We also update our merchandise every week so shoppers always have something new to look forward to,“ adds Marketing Manager Jane Kingsu-Cheng.

Perhaps, the best thing about Forever 21 are its very affordable price points with items ranging from P150 to P2500. You can snag a really pretty dress for around P1600 or a jumpsuit for P1200. Pick up a pair of stylish platforms for not more than P2000. Oh-so-cute printed tees and tanks run for as low as P400 and chiffon and lace tops for only P800. It somehow seems like almost guilt-free retail therapy—everyday clothes at reasonable prices.

While the queues to the fitting rooms and the cashier were epic at yesterday's VIP opening, things are sure to run smoothly with normal operations today. Perhaps the only problem you'll be facing is having to edit your "buy pile," or not.
