Charice and younger brother to be baptized and confirmed this week.

The Pinoy singing sensation’s mother herself, Raquel Pempengco this week confirmed that international talk show heavyweight Oprah Winfrey and composer-producer David Foster are among those invited to be part of the 24 pairs of godparents of Charice and her brother Carl as they are baptized as Catholics on Saturday.

The rite is to be held at an undisclosed location.

Charice, who launched her self-titled album internationally on The Oprah Winfrey Show last May 11, has also recently been featured in global news outfit CNN’s article “4'9 with a towering voice.”

Currently, no word has been out yet on whether Winfrey and Foster will personally attend the baptism and confirmation rites end of this week.
